I developed a strong passion for microscopy during my PhD, where I extensively used various microscopy techniques to investigate bacterial biofilm lifestyles. The curiosity of wanting to see anything tiny under the microscope took me away from the bench and led me to work in imaging facilities in Sydney and Melbourne as an Optical Microscopy Specialist. Here is where I deepened my knowledge about both the technical and application aspects of microscopy and was exposed to a variety of microscope and software brands. I then briefly managed a microscopy facility, and this is where I started being attracted to a different side of the microscopy world.
In 2021, I joined CrestOptics as a Business Development Manager for APAC. My past work experience allows me to successfully support the company’s mission of providing advanced systems for fluorescent microscopy and cutting-edge technology to the research community by growing strong partnerships in the territory.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family doing anything that can enrich our lives with discoveries and adventures.
