by completing this form, CrestOptics confirms its availability to provide a demonstration of its instruments. The demonstration will consist of the acquisition of images (“Images”) through our instruments, either on a sample (“Sample”) you provide or one provided by us. In any case, you confirm that any Sample you provide is safe to handle for the CrestOptics operator and it is not hazardous (e.g., carcinogenic, teratogenic, or radioactive) for human health. CrestOptics is committed to providing the Images by e-mail to the address you will specify at the bottom of this document. CrestOptics will include the email address as a recipient of our periodic newsletter.

In order for our company to be able to implement its promotional policy, it is necessary to clarify the following regarding the ownership of the intellectual and industrial property rights (“IPRs”) incorporated in the Images. By signing this letter, you agree that IPRs to the Images are the property of CrestOptics or in any case you grant CrestOptics S.p.A. a free worldwide non-sublicensable right to publish, to reproduce, to distribute, to modify, to use the images of Samples Images for commercial and promotional purposes; specifically, to spread in any media such as (a) corporate webpages and/or (b) corporate accounts on social media (LinkedIn; Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) and/or (c) newspapers and/or (d) printing materials and/or (e) any other media. Further, you represent and warrant that you are fully entitled to grant such a license which does not infringe on any third party’s IPRs.
If you need to maintain the confidentiality of the Images due to ongoing studies whose disclosure could anticipate and/or harm relevant publications, we kindly ask you to inform us by email to be sent to sales@dev.crestoptics.ccplabs.com within fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the Images, listing the specific Images you are willing to keep confidential. In this case, anyway, you undertake to quote CrestOptics in the scientific contents in which the Images will be included (e.g., citing CrestOptics Instruments in the Materials and Methods of a scientific publication; citing CrestOptics within presentations to third parties).
This letter shall be construed and enforced in accordance with Italian law and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome.
