Lifting Arm
The Universal Lifting Arm Bracket for X-Light V3 and DeepSIM stand-alone
Compatibility
With our Lifting arm, all upright microscopes can be equipped with X-Light V3 and DeepSIM stand-alone systems. Spinning disk confocal imaging using an X-Light V3 permits functional imaging at a faster speed, at greater depths in thick and larger tissue volumes than previously possible. In recent years, several super-resolution microscopy methods have been developed that have enabled direct observation of cellular structure at a level previously unattainable. It is possible to perform in-depth investigations using DeepSIM stand-alone, granting new experimental capabilities above the optical diffraction limit.
Biological Applications
Upright fluorescence microscopy allows easy access to the sample from the top, making it suitable for observing large samples such as organoids, entire tissues, or whole organisms. Moreover, upright microscopes offer ample space for manipulation and experimentation, enabling researchers to perform intricate procedures like patch clamping, microinjections, and electrophysiology experiments with greater ease. Upright microscopes can be used for live cell imaging, especially with dipping objective lenses. Overall, studies engaging upright microscopes are key tools for scientists to observe cellular properties.

Technical Features
The lifting/supporting arm has been designed with versatility in mind, as it is compatible with all upright microscopes regardless of their height, structure, or manufacturer. This ensures that users can easily integrate the arm into their microscope setup. Furthermore, the arm features adjustable settings allowing seamless alignment with the chosen system. In addition to its versatility and adjustability, the lifting arm is also built to last. Constructed from high-strength metal, the arm can support weights up to 30 kg. Finally, the arm connects quickly and easily to the instrument and optical table, reducing setup time.
